US-Fans wählen Bill an die Spitze

Tokio Hotel setzen Amerika-Eroberung fort, in Hamburg entsteht drittes Album

Von Stockholm bis Tel Aviv, von Lissabon bis Moskau. Überall haben "Tokio Hotel" hysterische Teenie-Fans hinterlassen. Jetzt setzen die Wahl-Hamburger ihre Amerika-Eroberung weiter fort. Die Kids in den Staaten sind verrückt nach dem Hit "Monsoon" ("Durch den Monsun"), wählten das Video bei "MTV USA" gerade an die Spitze! R'n'B-Megastars wie Nelly und Chris Brown haben das Nachsehen.

Selbst die Kritiker der "New York Times" waren anlässlich der ersten US-Konzerte der Rock-Jungs baff und urteilten: "Erstaunlich reizvoll von Anfang bis Ende." Und das US-Musikmagazin "Rolling Stone" befand, Bills "seltsame englische Aussprache" mache ihre Musik nur noch charmanter. Im August absolvieren Bill (18 ), Tom (18 ), Gustav (19) und Georg (21) u. a. in Chicago, San Francisco und Dallas Konzerte. Aber auch in der Heimat wird gearbeitet. Momentan sitzen die Zwillinge jede freie Minute mit "Tokio Hotel"-Produzent David Jost (35) im Hamburger Tonstudio. Jost: "Bill kramt dann immer jede Menge zerknitterte Zettel mit Textzeilen aus seinen Taschen. Meistens ist da noch irgendein Hotel-Logo von den letzten Auslandstrips drauf. Er ist da ein bisschen chaotisch und hat auch schon viele dieser Zettel verloren. Aber er hat leider partout keinen Bock, sich seine Ideen in den Laptop zu schreiben."
